Traditional cakes are sold.

Of course, there is a wide range of classic products such as baguettes and croissants.

The shop’s logo is stylish.

It is a very common level.

It is like an old-fashioned bakery.

Appearance is favourable.

It looked good from a distance and, although we visited after dark, the lights matched the surroundings.

As for the shop interior, it is very ordinary.

There is nothing particularly eye-catching and it looks simple.

Both prices and staff are also normal here.

Not cheap, but not expensive either.

The staff are also normal.

Ease of purchase is not a problem.

The shop itself is spacious and the products are very easy to find.

The location is close to the centre and a short walk from the metro station, making it easy to visit.

We also often stay in the area, which is very useful when we are short on time.

I want to eat Parisian bread, but I don’t like bread from convenience stores, so this is always a great help.

Sain Boulangerie opened in 2018.

The bakery, just off the Canal Saint Martin, is small, but the owner, Anthony Courteille, is a talented chef who worked for many years as a chef in a three-star restaurant.

It has a wide range of original menu items that you won’t find in other bakeries, so it’s a great place to go if you’re looking for bread that’s a little different from the rest.

It is also located close to the Canal Saint Martin, a popular tourist attraction, so it is recommended to stop by on a sunny day to take a stroll.

As it was the first day of our arrival in Paris when we visited, it was completely dark.

Walk along the canal, turn into Av. Richerand and immediately into Rue Marie et Louise and the shop is in front of you.

A simple sign and a handmade bench welcome you.

There is also a bag left behind that may have contained wheat.

You can buy from outside the shop, although I don’t know if you can call it inside the shop.

(This wasn’t the case when the shop first opened…)

This style is rarely seen in Paris.

A wide variety of breads are available.

At the back, Anthony Courteille was making something.

Lots of different types of bread are made.

It is reassuring to be able to see the bread being made.

The croissants and chocolate madeleines were purchased this time.

And pan champignon, which contains various vegetables, nuts and cereals recommended by the shop.

Both were breads that were rarely tasted elsewhere.

The shop on the corner of Rue de Dantzig and Rue des Morillons is not spectacular, but the black tent catches the eye and is easily recognised.

The exterior of small brick tiles, rather than larger bricks, is a nice touch when viewed up close.

Interior

The space where products are lined up does not seem very large, but there is a surprisingly large number of products.

A variety of baguette sandwiches are available.

I didn’t really know what was available, so I pointed to the sandwiches I was interested in and told them.

They all look very tasty.

Unique products not found in other bakeries are also available.

Of course, the classic baguette is also available.

There is also a good selection of viennoiseries.

Croissants and pain au chocolat are very popular in the shops.

Staff were also very pleasant.

When we ordered, they took our intentions into account and took care of all the details.

With regard to ease of purchase, the products themselves are easy to see, but there are so many products that I wanted to buy that I was quite confused.

The location is unfortunately not very good for tourists.

No tourist attractions nearby.

Overall, the bakery was rated highly, but I would like to visit it again.

To be honest, I feel a bit disappointed because the first shop in the 13th arrondissement is so good.

Prices are general prices.

The staff also give a very normal impression, although there are no special problems.

It is also not very good with regard to ease of purchase.

There are some problems with the layout and, as far as cakes and breads are concerned, the choice is quite cumbersome.

It would be worse, even worse, if it were during busy times.

The location is close to a metro station, so visiting should not be a problem.

However, there are no tourist attractions nearby.

Instead, it is a good idea to go on a bakery tour, as there are many recommended bakeries in the neighbourhood.

Apart from the taste, the ratings were quite low.

However, the product mix differs from that found in regular bakeries.

Without a description of the bread, it is quite difficult to know which one to buy.

The sandwiches are also very different from the usual bakery products.

Eclair is not much different from other shops.

In 2019, the winner of the baguette competition is Boulangerie LEROY MONTI.

Located on Avenue Daumesnil, off the 12th arrondissement of Paris, the shop is smaller than you might imagine.

The bakery won the baguette competition for the second time in its participation.

The owner, Fabrice Leroy, originally worked as a project manager for SNCF (French national railways).

Fabrice Leroy, who has an unusual background, started his bakery and won the baguette competition in only his second participation in the competition.

Exterior

The green exterior is immediately noticeable as you walk from the nearest station.

The shops are smaller than you might imagine.

You can easily spot them as there is a queue outside at certain times of the day.

It has a simple appearance but is clean and very pleasing.

The shop is small but has a wide range of products on display.

I am not sure what to buy.

As well as croissants, there will be a large number of viennoiseries.

There is also a range of classic breads.

The wall behind the counter is lined with baguettes and other classic breads.

Tarts and cakes are also available.

Baguette sandwiches are quintessentially delicious.

The apple tart was also very good!

The madeleines are also unquestionably delicious.

The shops that win top prizes in baguette competitions are basically boulangeries, so their cakes are often not very good.

However, this bakery is also quite good at sweet breads and pastries.

The shop is small and the products are easy to see, making it easy to choose.

Location is unfortunately a negative point.

It may be for bread lovers, as there are no tourist attractions nearby and it is a distance from the centre.

Overall, the results were highly positive.

The shop is highly recommended, not only for its baguettes, but also for its sweet-related products.

However, the location is far from the city centre, so it may not be suitable for first-time visitors to Paris or those who are staying for only a few days.

Blé Sucré is a delicious bakery in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, one stop from Place de la Bastille on metro line 8.

Located off a busy street, the shop is small but always full of customers.

Blé Sucré’s most popular product is madeleines.

It is a signature product that has won top positions in various competitions.

Croissants are also an award-winning product and are often sold out at certain times of the day.

The shop has been popular since its opening and was voted the best Madeleine in 2014 by Figaro magazine, and its croissants have also received very high praise in various competitions.

There appears to have been a change of ownership in 2017.

As for the taste, it was unfortunately average.

This was my first visit in a long time and I feel that the level has dropped considerably.

Appearance is not very good.

The dark look of the shop is not bad, but it is not particularly fashionable or contemporary.

This is what it looks like after the renewal.

The internal view was very normal and there was no particular feeling.

The price is not as high as it could be, but it is somehow subtle in terms of the overall balance.

Staff were efficient, even during busy times.

The only good point.

The location is one stop from Place de la Bastille, but there is no place to sightsee, so you will have to come here.

Overall, the evaluation was quite harsh.

In fact, I remember visiting a long time ago and being impressed by the delicious madeleines.

The madeleines, haphazardly placed in plastic bags, were casually eaten, and affordable, unforgettable Parisian madeleines.

However, when we visited this time, the bags were neatly arranged and bagged, which gave us a very different image of the product before we bought it.

Not that they weren’t tasty, but they were just ordinary madeleines.

It was later discovered that it had undergone an ownership change in 2017.

Unfortunately, we were unable to purchase the croissants this time, but we will re-evaluate the other breads and cakes on our next visit.

BO&MIE opened in November 2017.

The focus on homemade products quickly became the talk of the town, and the bakery is already very popular in Paris.

When I visit and look around, the first thing I feel is the enthusiasm of the staff to produce a good product.

The bakery has a modern atmosphere, but with a somewhat old-fashioned and cosy feel.

It was opened in November 2017 by two former students of l’Ecole Ferrandi à Paris.

The aim is to use quality ingredients and provide 100% homemade products.

The dark grey tent with the words BO&MIE written in white is simple but eye-catching.

The modern, stylish exterior is very clean.

The entrance is made of wood grain.

A terrace is also available, making it a great place to have lunch in the warmer months.

The signage is also simple but tasteful.

Note that at lunchtime, for example, people line up outside the shop, so the atmosphere changes to a very lively one.

The shop layout is clean and the interior is clearly visible from outside.

It’s hard to know which one to buy.

Interior

The bakery’s interior is stylishly designed.

There is ample eat-in space available, but it can be a little difficult to eat when the place is busy.

The products are also displayed very nicely.

When purchasing, you can find the bread you are looking for without hesitation.

There will be a range of authentic breads as well as viennoiseries.

Madeleines were also delicious.

The chocolate cake was also very good.

It looks like a fashionable boutique.

WIFI is also available.

It is simple but clean and makes you want to stay longer.

Lunch is also offered.

If you want to try a variety of breads, order lunch.

These are mini croissants.

Regular croissants were sold out.

Cheesecake is also a bit different from other shops.

Other products we have tried and recommend are madeleines and chocolate croissants.

The taste is unquestionably 5 Stars.

The overall quality of BO&MIE is high.

The exterior is simple but not too modern, although my personal preference is for an old-fashioned bakery.

The interior is simple but clean and the products are easy to see.

Prices are slightly higher.

All staff are very friendly and pleasant.

I have been there several times, both when it is busy and when it is empty, and I have never had a bad experience.

The ease of purchase is also positive.

It is easy to choose products even when standing in line at busy times.

Note, however, that sandwiches are located opposite the counter.

The location is good because it is in the centre of Paris, but it is not a place to stop during sightseeing.

If you plan to visit the Pompidou Centre, it is within walking distance in case you want to stop by.

Overall, BO&MIE was rated highly.

To be honest, I didn’t expect much at first, but the atmosphere of the shop is just so nice.

If you don’t like old-fashioned bakeries or slightly unsociable French people, this is the place for you.

I think it will make you feel very happy.

A second shop is also opening in 2019.

The first shop is usually easier to stop by, but if your hotel or other facilities are in this area, you should definitely stop by.

The shop is simple and clean.
