One of the joys of visiting Paris is visiting bakeries.

Over the years, I have visited many different bakeries, but when I visit so many bakeries, I tend to forget which ones are the best.

As I am such a forgetful person, I am making this ranking as a standard for my next visit.

Everyone’s taste is different, so I’m sure the ranking will vary greatly depending on the person eating it.

I hope this article can be read with your generosity.

Please note that all of the bakeries introduced here are highly recommended, regardless of their rankings.

About bakeries in Paris

There are two main types of bakeries in Paris.

• Boulangerie
• Pâtisserie

Translated into English, a boulangerie is a bakery.

A patisserie would be a cake shop, but the stores are not completely separated as the word suggests.

Most of the stores in both sell bread and cakes.

This ranking is a mixture of these two types of stores.

Please forgive me if the ranking is not correct from a professional point of view.

Types of Bread

There are many kinds of bread in bakeries.

Typical examples are baguettes, croissants, and pain au chocolat 、、、、.

Among them, there are some products that each store is good at and some that they are not.

If I were to rank them by product, the ranking would be quite detailed, so I have ranked them based on my overall impression.
