For those who love sweets, just hearing the name Cyril Lignac is enough to make you want to eat a cake.
There are almost 10 stores in Paris owned by star chefs, so I am sure you will be able to stop by one of them during your stay in Paris.
In addition to its taste, the store is known for its attention to detail, even down to the individual wrapping paper, which keeps repeat customers coming back.

Features of Cyril Rignac
The creations of Cyril Lignac and Benoît Couvrand (Fauchon’s chef patissiers) are delicate and elegant in taste.
The flour used is only from the Viron flour mill, which selects and refines the best wheat.
Just looking at it from the outside is exciting.
You will be greeted by the popular BABA AU RHUM, a name synonymous with Cyril Lignac.
It is not recommended for those who do not like alcohol, as it has a rum flavor.
This is another of Cyril Lignac’s masterpieces, EQUINOXE.
This is my personal favorite cake.
The store is very neat and clean, and the products are nicely laid out.
It is also convenient to have an eat-in space.
The square cake in the foreground is TARTE AU CITRON.
The lemon tart, a staple in Parisian cake shops, becomes a completely different cake when made by Cyril Lignac.
The texture was exquisite and very enjoyable.
However, I think it was a bit sweet.
The classic eclairs are also very attractive.
Anyway, you can find eclairs anywhere, but if you compare them, you can see how good they are.
PARIS BREST is another classic Parisian cake shop.
Cyril Lignac’s Paris-Brest is as good as it gets.
It has an elegant sweetness that makes you want to eat as much as you can.
But I still recommend EQUINOXE as the best among Cyril Lignac’s many cakes.
At first, I was worried about the color, but unlike its appearance, it has a very gentle flavor.
Inside the cake, there is a sweet cream and salted caramel that comes out in the second bite.
And the balance with the cookie dough underneath is perfect.
The lemon cake also looks simple but delicious.
This is for six to eight people.
This is SAINT HONORÉ.
It is for 6 people.
The classic Parisian Flan was also very tasty.
However, it is large, so it might be better if you are hungry.
There are also many kinds of viennoiseries.
All of them are very tempting to buy, but I bought this one.
The custard cream was also delicious and not too sweet.
The chocolate was light and very easy to eat.
This is a simple bread with a slice of chocolate in it.
In addition, jams are also available.
There are also some small snacks around the cash register.
It is also a good souvenir.
And last but not least, let’s not forget the chocolate.
The simple package is packed with deliciousness.
This is also a great souvenir.
The packaging is also very stylish.
It’s so well made that I want to take it home with me.
I like the fact that it is luxurious, but not too flashy.
Summary
How was it?
The overall rating is as follows on a 5-point list.
La Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac Poncelet
Taste:★★★★★
Exterior: ★★★★☆
Interior: ★★★★☆
Price:★★★★☆
Store clerk : ★★★★★
Ease of purchase: ★★★★★
Location: ★★★☆☆
I thought it would be very sweet, but the cake has a gentle, elegant taste that makes me want to eat as many as I can.
The exterior isn’t bad, but it’s a little dark and could use a little more glamour.
The interior is spacious and there is no problem with the eat-in corner, but it is a bit lonely.
The prices are reasonable, as it is a stylish store.
The clerk was very helpful.
She was also very helpful in answering questions about the cake.
After all, if the clerk is nice, I’ll become a fan.
The sales floor is very large, so you can see the products clearly, which makes it easy to buy.
I don’t think you will come to the Poncelet store I mentioned unless you are staying near the Ternes station.
However, Cyril Lignac has other stores in Paris, so it is best to go to the one that is easiest to get to.
Also, the Poncelet store is a bit noisy, like a market, so if you want to take your time shopping, you might want to go to another store.
Other Cyril Lignac stores are listed below.
LA CHOCOLATERIE is mainly about chocolate, so if you are interested in cakes and viennoiserie, choose La Pâtisserie.
