The Astoria Hotel is a member of the Astotel Hotel Group, which is the most recommended hotel in Paris.
The location is close to the San Lazare train station and only one bus ride away from the Opera.
The service and the comfort level of the stay are definitely excellent, and, it is more affordable than other Astotel hotels, so please make it a candidate for your next trip.

Features
Hotel Astoria is one of the Astotel Hotel Group mentioned here.
For more information about the Astotel Hotel Group, please read the article above.
I think you will find that it is incomparably more attractive than other hotels in Paris in the same price range.
Anyway, it’s full of free benefits, so please check it out.
Exterior
The exterior, facing the Rue du Mosque, is simple and blends in with the Parisian cityscape.
As with all Astotel hotels, the serene atmosphere is also the charm of this hotel.
Even on weekdays, Mosque Street is very quiet and relaxing as there are very few cars passing by.
Even though it is only a short distance from the center of the city, this tranquility is priceless.
Hotels in the center of the city are convenient for many things, but they can also be noisy and uncomfortable with cars and people coming and going until late at night, but the Hotel Astoria is not like that.
Hotel Lobby & Hallway
As soon as you enter the hotel, the reception desk is on your left.
The reception desk is bright and cheerful, making it a pleasant place to check in.
The staff is very cheerful and pleasant, so there is nothing to worry about.
They will tell you the breakfast time, check-out time, etc.
The wifi password will also be given to you when you check in, so don’t forget to check it.
The photo shows the corridor past the reception desk to the elevator.
There is one elevator on the right in the front, and a wider one on the right in the back.
The elevator used depends on the room number, so please check in advance.
The elevator in front that I used is very narrow.
It looks like a commercial elevator, and you have to pull the door in front of you to get in.
The doors are doubled.
As you can see in the picture, it will be brighter when the door at the back opens, then open the door.
The mirror makes it look spacious, but it fills up with two suitcases and one adult.
If you are departing in the morning and want to use this elevator, it is recommended that you prepare well in advance.
In front of the elevator, on the left side, there is a Parisian spiral staircase.
The photo was taken from the fourth floor.
It is quite steep, so it is a bit difficult to climb.
To the right of the pillar is the breakfast and snack area.
It is quite spacious and has plenty of seating available.
Room
The room we stayed in this time was a twin room.
The room is small, as is typical of Paris, but cleanliness, etc. is fine.
However, the pillow was too soft.
There is a shower curtain so the hot water will not splash around.
It is rare for the Astotel group to have shower curtains.
It was nice to have a pot and coffee and tea.
There is also a refrigerator, naturally, containing free drinks.
Evian, Badoa, Tropicana orange juice, and Coke.
There are few hotels in Paris that offer this level of service.
Of course, a safety box is provided.
The only disappointment in the Hotel Astoria was the closet.
The door was not attached.
This may vary from room to room, but it would have been nice to have closet doors.
Breakfast
Breakfast is more than enough.
It is a buffet style, so you can eat as much as you like.
Overall, the place is as lively as the picture.
Even if it is a bit crowded, there are plenty of seats so you can eat in peace.
The staff is also very efficient, so there are no dishes left on the table for any length of time.
The bread corner offers baguettes, croissants, and pain au chocolat.
You will need to cut the baguette into pieces by yourself.
Pain de mie can be baked in a toaster.
Warm scrambled eggs, ham and sausage.
I’m glad it’s not cold.
This is cold ham, salami and cheese.
Kellogg’s cereal is also available in three varieties.
There are also three kinds of Tropicana juices available.
Coffee is poured by yourself.
The pot with the black lid is coffee.
The silver pot is hot water.
The red pot is the hot milk.
In addition, various types of yogurt, butter, and honey are also available.
There are no salads, but overall, the breakfast is very satisfying.
However, the content is the same day after day, so you may get bored if you stay many nights in a row.
Snacks
One of the attractions of the Astotel group is the free refreshments that begin at 2pm.
If you go out first thing in the morning and stop by the hotel after a day of sightseeing, you will be very happy to know that drinks and snacks are available for free.
A few snacks, cookies, candies.
Depending on the day, madeleines and tarts are available.
Juices, water, and cola are also available.
The downside is that it’s not in the fridge.
A wide variety of teas are available.
Of course, coffee is also available in the same form as in the morning.
However, no hot milk is available.
I really appreciate the fact that so much is available for free.
Hotel Astoria has a lot of seating and a lot of space, so you can relax and enjoy your stay.
Surrounding Attractions
The mosque street in front of the hotel is quiet, but there are several convenience stores nearby, making it a very comfortable place to stay.
Note that business hours are drastically changed on Sundays, so be careful if you are leaving on Monday.

How to get to Charles de Gaulle Airport
When staying at the Hotel Astoria, you may be wondering how to get from the airport to the hotel.
The Hotel Astoria is located around the top of the San Lazare station, so the most convenient way to get there is to take the Roissy bus.
However, it is impractical to walk from the Opera, where the Roissy buses arrive, because it is quite a distance away.
If you have little or no luggage, such as suitcases, you can walk if you try hard enough.
The best way to get there is to take a bus.
The Roissy bus arrives at the side of the Opera, in the direction of Printemps.
From there, take the bus line 66 from Gluck – Haussmann, the bus stop on the other side of the Opera.
Even if you have suitcases and other luggage, the distance you have to travel is very short, so you won’t have much trouble.
After that, get off at the Bucarest bus stop near the hotel, and you will be at the Hotel Astoria in a few minutes on foot.
It depends on the traffic jam, but you should expect to spend around 10 minutes on the bus.
The cheapest and easiest way to get back to Charles de Gaulle Airport is to take the same route as you came.
However, if you don’t have enough time for your return flight, or if you have a lot of luggage, or if you are on a budget, you may want to take a cab.
Summary
The Astoria Hotel is one of the Astotel Group’s most convenient hotels, within walking distance of San Lazare Station, Printemps and Lafayette.
If you are planning to go somewhere from Saint Lazare station during your stay, you can walk to the station, which makes it easier to plan.
The area around the hotel is very safe and quiet, so I think you can spend your stay in Paris with peace of mind.
However, if you are planning to go somewhere from Gare du Nord or Gare de Lyon during your stay, it may be a little inconvenient.
If you plan to explore around the North Station or the Marais area, you may want to consider other hotels in the Astotel group.
If you don’t like to use public transportation, we recommend you to stay at one of the Astotel Group hotels near the Opera, as you will need to take the metro or bus to see Paris.
Overall, the hotel is highly recommended, and I hope you will consider it as a candidate for your stay when you travel to Paris.
