Aux 2 Anges is a popular bakery located a few minutes walk from Place de la Bastille.
As the name of the bakery suggests, the store is always crowded with two angels welcoming you, and there is always a line out the door.
Anyway, the stylish store is exciting both in terms of its exterior and interior.
Of course, the taste is also quite high, and the bakery is the second place winner of the 2019 Baguette Competition.
This is a bakery that shows great promise for the future, so please come and visit.

Nearest station : Bréguet – Sabin Line5 Bastille Line1,5,8
It is located on the corner of Rue Daval and Rue Saint-Sabin, not far from Place de la Bastille.
The store is located in a very busy place with lots of people.
The exterior walls are blue, the tents are carefully designed, and the corners of the building are stylishly finished.
It is a very nice bakery with a modern, yet somewhat classic atmosphere.
It is a popular bakery, so depending on the time of day, you may have to wait in line outside.
At the entrance of the store, two angels, which is also the name of the store, welcome you with the Aux 2 Anges logo between them.
In the window is a certificate for winning second place in the 2019 Baguette Competition.
The stylish store logo is also posted together on the entrance side.
The first thing you notice when you enter the bakery is the picture of an angel on the ceiling.
The angels on the round frame remind me of old French castles and churches, giving it a slightly elegant feel.
There are many tart cakes at the entrance.
They all look delicious.
There are so many different kinds that it is quite difficult to decide which one to buy.
Meringue bread can be found in any bakery, but it is surprisingly not sweet, so I eat it even though it is large.
Quiche is also available.
There are also many breads made with apples available in Paris.
Anyway, there is a wide variety.
Bread rolls filled with raisins and almonds.
This is also a popular product.
Some of the smaller breads are sold by weight.
I’m really not sure which one I should buy.
I still recommend the baguette sandwich.
My favorite is the one with tomato and cheese in between.
A simple sandwich of ham and cheese is also a must-try product.
And here is the baguette sandwich I bought this time.
Dried tomatoes are good.
Of course, I also buy baguettes.
The apple tart was also very tasty.
This tart is not too sweet, but you can feel the flavor of the apples.
The overall rating is as follows on a 5-point list.
Aux 2 Anges
Store clerk : ★★★★☆
Ease of purchase: ★★★★☆
The taste was very good.
The baguette and the cake were very good.
I look forward to trying other breads and cakes in the future.
The exterior was also very nice.
Even if I didn’t know about this store beforehand, I would still want to stop by and take a look.
Likewise, the interior is lovely.
The ceiling looks great, and the products are generally laid out in an easy to see manner.
The price is rather high.
It’s not too expensive, but it’s generally higher than other bakeries.
The clerk was busy, so it’s difficult to evaluate, but the madam, who seemed a bit unfriendly, interacted well with eye contact.
I think a more leisurely time would not be a problem.
I think it is easy to purchase products.
The location is also within easy walking distance of the Place de la Bastille.
It’s a good place to stop by while strolling around the Marais.
Overall, it turned out to be a very well-received bakery.
I didn’t have very high expectations before I came here, but the atmosphere of the store, the variety of menu items, and the appearance of the products were all of a very high standard for a bakery.
In September 2019, a new store called Aux 2 Anges les gourmandises will open next to the current store.
