This time, I will introduce the route from Line 52 to Line 59.
Line 52 to Line 59 is generally used by a limited number of people.
I think that there is a route that is convenient every day if there is accommodation on the route, but others will not use it
Paris Buses RATP are assigned numbers from lines 20 to 96.
There are not all numbered buses, but there are 60 routes in total.
It is difficult to grasp all of them, but please check the easy-to-use routes against the actual route one by one.
Paris Bus Complete Guide Line 52 to Line 59
Line 52
April 2019 Revised version
Line 52 runs between Parc de Saint-Cloud and Opéra.
There are no changes in the April 2019 revision.
Depart Opéra and go through L’église de la Madeleine.
Pass through Place de la Concorde and on the road behind one of the Champs-Elysées.
Take a little big turn and head to the Arc de Triomphe.
After the Arc de Triomphe, head to Victor Hugo Station.
After that, Parc de Saint-Cloud will be the end point through the 16th arrondissement and beyond the ring road.
Line 52 is not a bad route, but a practical place will be the way from Opéra to Arc de Triomphe.
However, it doesn’t pass through the Champs-Elysées, so it may not be for those who want to go through the ornate Champs-Elysees.
Please note that Traffic is bad around Avenue des Champs-Elysées, so if you want to get to Arc de Triomphe early, this line may arrive earlier.
Line 53 – Deleted –
April 2019 Suspension of operation
Line 53 has been abolished in April 2019.
The following articles are for reference articles before April 2019.
Line 53 runs between Pont de Levallois and Opéra.
Depart the opera and head up to Saint-Lazare Station.
Then, cross the ring road and arrive at Pont de Levallois.
Line 53 does not pass through tourist spots in particular, so I think it is an unnecessary route for tourists.
If you don’t have accommodation on the route, you wouldn’t be using it.
Line 54
April 2019 Revised version
Line 54 runs beween Porte d’Aubervillers and Gabriel Peri.
It has been slightly changed by the revision in 2019.
However, I think that there is no particular problem because it is not a route used by tourists.
Depart from Porte d’Aubervillers on the ring road, north of Gare de l’Est.
Pass through Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord, the lower part of Sacré-Cœur, through Boulevard de Clichy, and head to Place de Clichy.
Then continue through Boulevard de Clichy to Porte de Clichy, cross the ring road, and arrive at the end, Gabriel Peri.
Line 56
April 2019 Revised version
Line 56 runs between Porte de Clignancourt and Château de Vincennes.
There were some changes in the April 2019 revision.
There is Porte de Clignancourt, around the ring road, above Sacré-Cœur.
Departing from here, pass by Sacré-Cœur and through Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord.
Then, cross the 11th arrondissement through Place de la République.
The end point is near the forest entrance of Bois de Vincennes via Place de la Nation.
Line 56 does not run much of a tourist spot.
I think that it is a route that is not used so much except for those who go to Sacré-Cœur or to Bois de Vincennes from around Gare du Nord.
Line 57
April 2019 Revised version
Line 57 runs between Arcueil–Laplace RER and Porte de Bagnolet–Louis Ganne.
It is a route that has not changed in the revision of 2019.
Depart from Porte de Bagnolet–Louis Ganne along the ring road on the 20th arrondissement.
Pass by Place de la Nation, via Paris Gare de Lyon, and cross the Seine.
Then, go through Place d’Italie and go through the 13th arrondissement.
Cross the ring road and reach the end point, Arcueil –Laplace RER.
Line 57 is also unlikely to be used by tourists unless there is accommodation on route.
Line 58
April 2019 Revised version
Line 58 reuns between Vanves – Lycée Michellet and Châtelet.
There were some changes in the revision of 2019.
It is not a big change because it is only a route change of Île de la Cité
After departing Chatelet, cross Pont Neuf.
After crossing the Seine, you’ll pass through Odéon and through Le Jardin du Luxembourg.
After that, pass through Montparnasse Tower and Gare Montparnasse, and cross the 14th arrondissement to the ring road.
You will soon arrive at the end point, Vanves–Lycée Michellet.
Line 58 departs Chatelet, so it is easy to ride, to head to the Louvre museum or BHV.
After that, it will pass through Le Jardin du Luxembourg, so if you want to take a walk around Saint-Germain-des-Prés, I think you can make effective use of it.
In addition, it also passes through Gare Montparnasse, so it is a line that is also active for those who go to regional cities.
Line 59 – New –
Line 59 is new line.
Unfortunately, I think that it is unlikely to be used for sightseeing.
It is only available for those who have accommodations on the route.
Summary
In the 2019 revision, Line 53 has been abolished, and Line 59 was added instead.
I think that it will be about Line 52 and Line 58 that are easy to use.
Other routes will not be used unless there is accommodation on the route.
Lines 52 and Line 58 may also be substituted on other Bus Line, so if you are using a bus in Paris for the first time, I think that there is no problem if you ignore all the routes in Line 52 to Line 59 this time.
